About The Homestead

“The original log home built in 1886 has been refurbished and is embedded within our home. I enjoy giving tours of the log home. It is most interesting to see the small area where six children were raised over 150 years ago!”

Below: Original nails and bits of newspaper from the late 1800s were found during the refurbishing of the original homestead and have been preserved.
